Irish Apple Cake & a nice cup of Tea

Hooray for autumn and all those lovely apples that are now being offered at road stands and in the produce departments of the local shops. Not French Apples either, but beautiful, sweet delicious fresh British Apples. Perfect for eating out of hand, cooking into sauces and chutnies . . .
