The Feeder of wolves fell, worker of evil deeds. The poet chopped Ljot’s leg off, I brought Fridgeir peace. I do not ask reward from the splasher of gold for that. The spears’ din was fun enough, the fight with the pale man. -from “Egil’s Saga”

Win the New Piccadilly Notebooks @ Black Cover

I love notebooks and recently discovered this site which is dedicated to finding Moleskine alternatives. The piccadilly notebooks are great looking and available online and at Borders bookstores. Black Cover is having a contest and posting a blog entry about it is one of the ways you can enter. Funny thing is I had a folder all set up to do an entry on these notebooks but had not gotten around to it until today.

The prices rage from $3.99 to $8.99. There are three differnt sizes of notebooks which come lined (orange) or unlined (green).

Also check out Piccadilly’s Sun Dial Agenda. It is a new take on scheduling your day.

Notebooks are wonderful. My love for them is equaled with my love for fountain pens. Likely you know this already, but Markings by C. R. Gibson also put out a notebook. Here’s a reference:
